Australian Seasonal measures for Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB)

 

BMSB seasonal measures will apply to targeted goods manufactured in or shipped from target risk countries, that have been shipped between 1 September and 30 April (inclusive), and to vessels that berth, load, or tranship from target risk countries within the same period.

Note: The shipped on board date, as indicated on the Ocean Bill of lading, is the date used to determine when goods have been shipped. “Gate in” dates and times will not be accepted to determine when goods are shipped.

Checklist: Do you know your Incoterms®?

  1. I understand that each Incoterm® defines my role and responsibilities and those of my buyer.
  2. I understand I am responsible for certain actions and costs under different Incoterms®.
  3. I have created a list of freight forwarders to speak to so I can fully understand the costs involved of my preferred Incoterms®.
  4. I have asked my buyer what Incoterms® they prefer.
  5. I have discussed my process and systems with a freight forwarder before I provide export pricing quotes.

Australian export Restrictions

 No matter what product or service you're exporting, you should remain vigilant for any criminal activities throughout your supply chain.  Prohibited goods The Australian Government prohibits the export of certain goods from Australia.  In some cases, you can export 'prohibited goods' if you meet certain conditions and get written permission first. This involves applying for and being issued with:  a permit a licence an exemption. However, there are some goods that are absolutely prohibited. Changes to Bringing cats and dogs to Australia

 From 1 March 2023 there are new quarantine requirements for importing cats and dogs to Australia. These will affect the time some pets spend in quarantine.  Please contact us on info@nhlogistics.com.au for more information
